We use the Kodak SoftDent Practice Management and Electronic Digital Dental Record system. This allows us to have secure, safe charting of your dental information.  For additional security your records are "backed up" off site in an encrypted, HIPPA compliant setting that protects your privacy rights.  By using digital electronic records it is easy to transfer your dental records to a new dentist if you move out of town.

We use the Kodak Digital X-ray System.  Using digital sensors means up to 90% less radiation is required.  Digital radiographs are transfered to your computerized record.  This allows Dr. Seitz to easily magnify the images for better diagnosis and immediate viewing.  Digital radiographs are also earth friendly.  There are no hazardous film development chemicals used.

Intra-Oral Video Camera - The digital film image is projected on the computer monitor. This allows you to see what Dr. Seitz sees and it is easily magnified for better visualization.

Kodak Oral Digital Camera - We can record your "before" and "after" transformation in stored digital images.

Advanced Root Finder - For safer root canal localization.

Sterilization and Infection Control - We have in-office protocols for sterilization and infection control that follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA), and OSAP recommendations.  We clean the instruments mechanically, then use a Sonic IX ultrasonic cleaner, rinsed thoroughly, followed by a complete cycle through an advanced AMSCO  Eagle Ten autoclave (heat pressure sterilization) to completely sterilize the dental instruments. The instruments remain sealed in a protective wrap until opened to use.  We monitor the sterilizer gauges and readouts for proper temperature and pressure.  In combination with regular chemical color indicators monitors we perform recommended periodic biologic monitoring to assure full sterilization.

We are careful to disinfect operatory surfaces between patients and use new gloves, including latex-free gloves for latex sensitive patients. We use face masks, and eye shields or eye protection glasses.
